Media and technology executive Clive Dickens, formerly of Seven West Media, Shazam and Optus, has launched an AI consultancy.
The Meliora Company has been created to help brands in the telecom, media, and technology sectors accelerate transformation through design-centric product solutions and accelerated AI enablement. The term Meliora comes from the Latin “the pursuit of better".
“The pace of technological change is accelerating, Meliora is about redefining the skillset a boutique advisory can bring to a medium and large enterprise,” said Dickens, managing partner of Meliora and a former chief digital officer at Seven West Media.
“Not since the arrival of the iPhone and App Stores have we seen such a pivotal moment as that which occurred in November 2022 with the arrival of the first LLMs and GenAI apps.
"Yet, many traditional consulting models have left organisations fatigued and struggling to navigate this change. Our ambition is to demonstrate what our team with real, hands-on experience in technology and modern operating models can deliver to our partners.”
The consultancy will be based in Sydney for APAC, London for EMEA and Los Angeles for Americas.
Meliora Advisory brings together a mix of international innovators from across digital video, digital audio, telecommunications and ecommerce.
The business will start with an initial team of nine members with more partners and associates joining over the coming months.
