Incubeta, a global digital marketing group, has appointed Lani Cummins as managing director of its Australia and New Zealand operations.

Cummins joined Incubeta during its Australian launch in 2011 and played a key role in scaling the agency from a five-client roster to a national operation.

“Our journey has been one of relentless focus on the team and the clients we serve. It’s exciting to lead a business that values trust, creativity, and the ability to move quickly, while always staying true to our purpose,” said Cummins.

The appointment follows the promotion of Sam Shennan to CEO APAC earlier this year, part of a broader investment in the region.

“The APAC region has always been one of momentum and complexity,” said Cummins.

“Our edge lies in how we respond to that, with creative problem solving, client-first thinking, and strong teams that are empowered to lead from wherever they are.”

Incubeta was founded in 2001 in London and operates in over 20 markets, offering services across media, data, and technology, and has a client portfolio that includes L’Oréal, Hyundai, and Marks & Spencer.

The Carlyle Group, a global investment firm with an estimated market capitalisation of AUD$26.7 billion, acquired the company in 2022 to support global growth.

As managing director of its Australia and New Zealand operations, Cummins said he will focus on talent development, business performance, and sustainable growth.
